Cashew Date Smoothie

A nutty sweet smoothie that's sure to satiate you.

Equipment

  • High-powered blender

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • 2 frozen medium bananas broken into chunks
  • cup oats
  • 4 dates
  • 1 ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • cacao nibs, chopped cashews optional topping

Instructions
 

  • Add cashews, frozen banana chunks, oats, dates, almond milk, ice cubes, cinnamon, and salt to a high-powered blender. Blend till smooth. Add small amounts of milk at a time to thin out the smoothie to your desired thickness.
  • Pour into glasses, and top with cacao nibs and chopped cashews. Enjoy!

Notes

*If you don't have a high speed blender, you may need to add more milk, and/or stir around the mixture periodically to assist it in blending.
